Arkansas State Capital annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration. We read our Christmas book and sang Christmas carols. “The capital event is always a highlight of the season for us.”Authors and musicians Carol Dabney, Cindy Reyes and Rod Ragsdale sharing their story-telling and musical gifts with the very young and the very old…We read at schools and nursing homes all season…we want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas 2015.
Reading our storybook with Herald the mouse on my lap at the Nixon Library in Jacksonville. The kids come there after school and have dinner while we read.
Entertained at Lakewood Nursing Home in North Little Rock. One gentlemen loved the patriotic songs, he kept tip toeing his wheelchair closer and closer to me singing along.
WE read in English and Spanish for students at E-Stem. They were studying different languages. We sang a few extra songs in Spanish as well. They had lots of great questions and were most amazing young people. Gave us a fun send off too. Thank you teacher Michelle Hanvey.
Sang at Elmcroft Seniors. We sing there twice a month and getting to know the residents. Having a great deal of fun each time.
Clinton Library and Learning Center. Lots of my music students came to this event and that made me very happy. I am very blessed to teach at St Mark Day School
Reading our stories in Byrant for a daycare. so adorable and good listeners too

Rod Ragsdale playing his guitar and harmonica at the Plantation Festival 2015
Santa’s North Pole at turtle Creek Mall in Jonesboro. This little cutie is a #1 Carol Dabney fan for sure. She comes to so many of my events and has all my books, and she is not even two yet… They live in the Northeast area where I came from but travel to the Good Earth Pooches and Pumpkins in central Arkansas every fall and other places I announce. I just love her!
I was honored to be the Special guest speaker at the First Baptist Women’s Cup of Christmas Joy near Scott. Thank you ladies for this opportunity. However I did miss my two side kicks: Rod and Cindy. This was a solo act. I spoke about being a writer and about my first illustration which was my Christmas book and sang a few songs. Introduced my animal parable series, which I think is so sweet and hope folks will begun to enjoy as much as they do the Christmas book
Rod likes to break out the Magic tricks at schools. We were in England and they children were in awe.
We played in Nashville Grill and then it was time to pack it up and go have Christmas by the fireplace with the grandkids. Egg nog time and watching Its a Wonderful Life (my favorite) in our PJs. Merry Christmas and God bless us everyone… Young and old.
It Doesn’t have to snow for all of us to know
Christmas in your heart can last the whole year round. It doesn’t have to wait till the frost is on the ground.
from Manhattan’s frosty snow to Hawaii’s ocean mist, there’s one things I know you don’t need… mistletoe to kiss…
don’t need a Christmas tree for all of us to see
Christmas is like home, with love so strong
no matter where you roam to last your whole life long.
It’s not the tinsel not the toys
not just for little girls and boys
not just for the young you see but for anyone who can BELIEVE.
