Friday March 1 is a day to read for your children and grandchildren, volunteer at your local school and library and join in reading across America. Children love to be read to, and when children read it helps them become better learners. It gives them confidence and helps them to do better in every subject. I know many of you can not just take off work and go read at the school. I am blessed that my present job make it possible for me to read. I love it!!!  However, you can read to your children every night when you tuck them into bed.  Buy them fun new books often and it will inspire them.  -Carol Dabney

I am volunteer reading at Ewa Beach Elementary School for the Read Aloud America program tomorrow on the island of Oahu.

For sgt. Yano Library march 6 for the children’s story hour at Schofield army Barracks Oahu, Hawaii
