Prince, the Lion used by God is the introductory story of The Animals Used By God series written by attorney Everett O. Martindale and illustrator co-author Carol Dabney. November 2013
Martindale has created children’s stories that go hand in hand with bible characters that we all know and love but with a slight twist that will surprise you. The animal kingdom has a big hand in carrying out God’s work in this delightful animal parable series.
Prince the Lion is a story weaved around the sixth chapter of Daniel. Children will watch Prince grow up and become a mighty lion leader. Prince’s mother has told him to trust God no matter what. Prince will go through some tragedy, loneliness and disappointment before he sees that God has brought him right where he needs to be in order to fulfill God’s work. This is the story of courage, patience, trust and the willingness to act when God gives an opportunity.
